I have been to Torco Ice Cream on Erie Street, Jersey City on numerous occasions, especially during the warmer weather months. Torico has a wide assortment of tasty creamy flavors, as well as gelato and sorbet flavors. This ice cream shop has a good following and extremely satisfied customers when enjoying their ice cream inside or outside Torico's.

Torico has been one my favorite ice cream spots in this area for a veryyyyyyy long time. I came here for the first time after apartment hunting for my first Hoboken/JC apt many moons ago and even after leaving the area, it's still a favorite and a must visit when I am in town. It's a local family owned spot, so already beats out the B&J, Haagen Dazs & Van Leeuwen's that make the up the main aves. The ice cream is amazingggg and I have never ever had a bad flavor. My last visit was a scoop of coconut cream & vanilla was graham cracker and coconut flakes and *chef's kiss* perfect combo. I always try a new flavor when stopping in and it is always tasty, so you can never go wrong in my opinion. On hot days or the just any day with good weather, the line can go out the door so be prepared to wait if it is even just a little nice out. My motto is it's never too cold for ice cream, so make the trip over now while it is chilly if you want to beat the crowd. Besides the inevitable line, it's a perfect spot and you should 100% give them a try. Enjoy!

I always drive past this location but there is always a line and I see why. The location has so many options, it was so hard to choose. Good quality Ice cream and great service. The location is small and fast paced. I would definitely visit again.

Very cute ice cream shop, lots of variety like type, size, toppings, flavors etc!! The branding and signage is adorable. It was also organized around inside which really helps to keep the line moving- much appreciated! Since when are ice cream shops so expensive across the board?! My single scoop was $5ish which is insane and it was truly one scoop so it was extra small. I got chocolate ice cream with chocolate chips. Yummy, but could always have more chips! My friends got a brownie sundae and wished it was less brownie and more ice cream. They didn't feel like it was worth the price for the amount of ice cream (or lack of) they received despite the container/bowl used was huge.

Very popular spot, had some good flavors and they were very nice letting you try as many flavors as you wanted. The Ube was underwhelming but the pound cake and oreo flavors were solid. Would try if I was in the area needing some ice cream but wouldn't go out of my way to get it.

I've really been in the mood for ice cream lately and had to try Torico after having dinner at Razza. It's just a short walk through the pedestrian Street. When we arrived, the wait wasn't too long, but there was a good sized crowd for a Thursday. I was craving Rocky Road with sprinkles, and I decided I needed a waffle cone. Is it possible to complain about too many sprinkles? They were very generous with way more than enough. The rocky road ice cream itself was delicious, and I enjoyed the flavor of the waffle cone. Next time my dog Jeffrey needs a pup cup!

Torico's ice cream has been nestled in the heart of downtown for years now. It's a jersey city staple at this point. As soon as you walk into their quaint little shop you get hit with the smell of sweet delicious ice cream. They have so many flavors I swear it can get overwhelming . flavor ranging from Banana all the way to plum, and yams! They have a varied of italian ice and soft serve as well. The price is reasonable for the amount and delicious treat you get. The workers are friendly and always smiling. The wait can be long but that's what happens when you're popular I ordered a small green tea in a cup and it was $5. Def ate it in like 5 bites. Perfect way to end my long 12 hour shift
